The Sundance Film Festival is held each January in Park City, Utah. The 2006 festival runs runs 1/19 through 1/29/2006. Sundance is an international film festival that has developed a reputation on par with Cannes, Berlin, Toronto and other major independent film festivals. The primary goal of both the Sundance Film Institute and of the festival is to promote independent film making.
