FTD - Flowers
FTD is the leading network for flower delivery. This network has representative flower shops in all primary and secondary markets in the United States and Canada. The network allows you to order flowers online and have them delivered that day.
FTD is a great example of how national organizations can work with independent shops to provide outstanding service. The florists in the network carry in stock the flowers, balloons and gift items; so that they can quickly produce arrangements that they can assemble and deliver that day. Many local use FTD to provide a solid foundation for their business. They then provide additional services of their own design.
The independent flower shops in the FTD network often have an established relationship with wedding chapels, funeral homes, churches and chapels in their service area. The familiarity of the flower shops with the venues smooths the delivery and display of flowers. Flowers delivered through the mail may end up at the wrong door, and be inconvenient for the venue.
